Week 5: Free Write

Thank you so much for going through the process of reflecting and sharing your journey with us. We want to create one last space for you to write about whatever you want. Whether it is a reflection on what you have learned about yourself and others so far or a rant about how difficult the past few weeks have been, feel free to share your thoughts.  *Food for thought: if you can not think about what to write, use this post to get anything off your chest and connect with other medical students. Week 4: You are Enough

Who do you compare yourself with? How does that make you feel? How are other people's opinions holding you back? What are steps you can take to stop comparing and start celebrating yourself instead? *Food for thought: medical school can be highly competitive and it can be easy to get lost in test score averages and class ranks. Week 3: Looking Forward

What is something you are looking forward to in 2023?  What is something you are worried about?  If you do find yourself struggling, who will you look to for support?  When you are thriving, who will you look to celebrate with? *Food for thought: hopes and concerns are often things that come into our mind with the arrival of a new year.  The goal of this post is to share those thoughts and consider the people you trust and would be able to share those experiences with--both positive and negative.  The strength of solidarity and support can be so powerful.* Thank you for your time & willingness to share your thoughts! 😊

Week 2: 2022 Reflection

Week 1: Self Love

What are your favorite qualities in yourself? Who are you around when you feel most free to be your authentic self? What activities bring you the most joy? How will you show yourself some love this week?  *Food for thought: as medical students, we have always strived to care about those around us. Whether it is our family, friends, patients, or colleagues, being selfless can become a part of our identity. However, it is important to show the same love we show others to ourselves.
